Global Brand Marketing Lead, Instagram
Sam is a youth marketing expert for world class brands. He has spent his entire career focused on teen and millennial audiences within the tech and entertainment industries. Sam currently works at Instagram as a Global Brand Marketing Lead, managing a team of marketers driving campaign efforts that instill more love for the Instagram brand. He is a creative-driven, brand building, storyteller and experiential marketer. Sam has held senior marketing roles at Google, Ubisoft, Lucasfilm, and Intel executing integrated, award-winning work at scale.
Sam has conducted talks and interviews with Business Week, CNET, AOL and Interactive Day San Diego and is credited in over 80 video games. He holds an MBA from UC Davis Graduate School of Management and a degree in Economics from San Francisco State University. In his spare time, Sam is a volunteer coach in Oakland with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association, helping to get more kids on bikes.
